The new RTD Beam Data Acquisition and Management software offers more convenience for beam data acquisition and processing. And with a digital data resolution of 0.05mm, the RTD software is a perfect match for the new Hi-Res 9800 waterphantom series.
A Better Approach
The RTD approach to scanning is based on 'Data Acquisition Plans', scanning templates which can be readily prepared before scanning. Acquisition plans may be reused, assuring that subsequent data sets truly share the same scan setup, geometry and data point positioning, resulting in comparable and reproducable data. Acquisitions plans may be exchanged with other RTD users, allowing comparisons between treatment machine or institutions and the sharing of data, for example among member of a Users' Group.
For Better Results
RTD data acquisition plans assure verifiable and reproducible results. The extensive scan processing and data handling tools assure results that are suitable for your purpose.
With RTD you can easily edit, renormalize and reformat data. 'Cut and Paste' scan handling allows the assembly of measured data on screen and into a new file or for immediate documentation with the print to PDF function. Or use the 'Compare Studies' feature to compare data sets - to track machine performance, for plan verification and other QA tasks. RTD outputs data in ascii or text format, for further use in MS Office applications like Excel as well as for other medical physics and oncology applications.

RTD offers convenient clipboard functions for assembling measured data for various uses including the creation of beam data libraries for treatment planning systems. A wide range of TPS datalinks further facilitate the beam data generation and transfer process.
