More about the VSM module
The VSim module features tools for treatment geometry development and tools for visual evaluation of target coverage and the sparing of critical structures.
The prepared treatment geometries can be calculated by the RTSuite PLN module, exported to a different TPS or to a treatment machine IS. Patient isocenter setup coordinates can be exported to a laser positioning system for patient marking.
VSim features intuitive and easy to use beam setup tools which make developing new plans simple. Or setup and apply a treatment template library containing beam configuration geometries organized by treatment site and protocol - as implemented in your department. Once your treatment template library has been defined, not only can it save your department time and work, it can serve as a useful quality instrument as well.
