Scanning & Beam Data Library
Beam Data Library Services
Commissioning a TPS can be labor and time intensive. And often, creation of the TPS beam data library must take place simultaneous to the commissioning of other equipment, such as a linear accelerator. Or parallel to the clinical routine and regular workday.
Bringing in our scanning professionals to assist with beam data acquisition and the creation of TPS beam data libraries can help keep you stay on your deployment timeline.
Successfully commission new equipment without impeding patient treatment - on time.

Scanning and Scan Data Processing
Scanning the treatment machine is one part of the job, processing the measured data the next.
Depending on the scanning objectives, you as client determine how the measured data should be assembled and documented.
For example, when commissioning a new treatment machine, the compiling and output of reference data sets or the assembly and preparation of the measured data for implementation in a TPS beam data library.
The transfer of beam data library data sets can then be achieved using ascii/CSV (comma separated values) or another method of data import supported by the TPS manufacturer or via a Datalink option from Multidata.
Datalinks for virtually all commercial TPS are available.
